Some of you might know that I am headed to NYC next month. And if you have been following me, you also might know that I love cheesecake. Of course, when I travel to NY, I always have to grab some pizza, some bread and a slice of cheesecake. As a NY’er born and raised, I feel as if it is almost my duty to get them when I am in town.
In my planning for my trip, I came across Eileen’s Special Cheesecake. And today, they are giving away FREE CHEESECAKE! Yep, I said it. Oh, and before I tell you how to get your free cheesecake, I have to let you know that I will be getting some free cheesecake too when I visit next month, as a thank you for sharing this info with you. Free cheesecake for all, right? (Plus, you know how much I love to support mom-owned small businesses).
Today (Tuesday, June 16, 2015) from 10am until they close, when you post a picture of you with an Eileen’s Cheesecake on Instagram, you will get a FREE Cheesecake! Why? Because Eileen’s is celebrating their 40th anniversary and they want to share the love. They are going on 40 years at their NoHo location, and like many NYC food institutions, you will find lines around the block everyday, so you should get yourself there as early as possible or there might not be any cheesecake left, ha ha.
The fun doesn’t stop there though. They are also doing a special neighborhood scavenger hunt from 5p-7p today. Look for their prize filled cheesecake box that will be hidden within a 2 block radius of their bakery, located at 17 Cleveland Place. So, that is as far east as Mott St. As far west as Lafayette St. Clue: A place where you might take a break is where you’ll find cash for an Eileen’s Cheesecake (Look for the Little Box).
