Most people don’t know all of the struggles I have faced in my life because, despite my living my life pretty openly on social media, there are tons of things I don’t share. Much of this is in respect of the other people who have also gone through these experiences with me.
Those who are close to me, know that I have required much strength to get to where I am now, and much more to get to where I am going. And I am just going to outright say that I would not have been able to get through much of the struggle without praying. Praying for me represents not only focus when everything swirls around me, but it also it represents letting go to a higher power than my own.
There are always forces to contend with, but I know that God’s power is greater than anything I may face. When I pray, I am putting my faith in Him and almost like a miracle he calms the storms. Some people have misinterpreted my calmness for lack of care. It has never been a lack of care, but an abundance of peace, that has allowed me to remain calm in the face of a storm.
Recently, I have come to a juncture in my blogging path and I am finding passion in the element of family travel that my new blog has really allowed to take hold. But I also have not forgotten about my commitment to help other moms builds businesses. Every direction I take, I pray heavily about it and seek direction to make sure I am on the right path. Everything I do must align with the path God has chosen for me.
When I took the passion test, which is meant to help you discover your passions in life, I discovered that my four passions were to 1.) Invent something in technology that would change how people use technology. 2.) Spend time with my family. 3.) Travel the world. 4.) Share God’s love with the world. So every project I take on, while outwardly might seem like a mish mosh of different things, is actually toward following my path and fulfilling my life’s passions.
The point is that when I pray, I am able to find strength, direction and reassurance that I am doing the right thing, even when things seem to going wrong around me. I am not saying everyone has to see things my way, but I do suggest you try praying to a higher power than your own. You might be surprised at how everything becomes a bit more easier to manage.
