If you’re like me, you’ve been thinking about picking up one of those DNA tests to find out about your heritage. But, those tests usually seem pretty expensive and you don’t know which one to choose. Well, I am going to make it easier for you. This morning, I discovered you can get the 23andMe collection kit at CVS.com for just $19.99, as they apply a $10 coupon to their sale price of $29.99! However, it gets even better!! Keep Scrolling down to find out why.

If you pay attention to the above screenshot, it mentions a $20 ExtraBucks Rewards for purchasing 23andMe personal genetic DNA kits. I saw that, and I was a bit skeptical, so I went into the eligibility details aka the fine print. Basically, you need to have an ExtraCare card and you are still responsible for the sales tax, but it seemed valid for this kit.  I went ahead and ordered it, and it came to $21.69, and included free standard shipping.

I checked my receipt, and it shows that I earned the $20 ExtraBucks Rewards and that they would be added to my ExtraCare card once my order ships!

So essentially, I am getting this test shipped to me for the $1.29 I paid in tax!!!

With a deal this good, the kits are sure to sell out once people figure it out. But, thanks to some additional research, you can find other great deals on 23andMe kits.

Walgreens has the kits available in-store for $9.99 plus tax, with a coupon. It’s on sale for $29.99, but you can clip a coupon for $20 to your rewards card, bringing the price down to $9.99. The $29.99 sale ends tomorrow (12/8/18), but the $20 coupon is good until 12/29/18.  Another blogger friend of mine, was able to pick up the kit for less than $3 online last night using the coupon, but now it says you can only use in-store and the price is slightly higher.

Walmart has it available for $19.97.

It should be noted that the kit does not include the lab fee. The lab fee ranges from $69 to $169 based on what type of testing you choose. Both Target and Best Buy have the kit that includes the basic lab fee for $69 total. Best Buy has a 5% rewards for those who use their Best Buy Card. Target has the 5% savings with RedCard.

And of course, you can go directly to the source. 23andMe.com is having a 30% ff sale, with free giftwrap, so the tests with lab fee start at $69 too!

Hope this helps some of you in taking the first step to finding out your heritage. I know I am excited!
