It’s that time of year again….. Back to School!! But who says that getting ready for back to school has to be all work? South Florida Parenting Magazine is hosting its 10th annual Back to School Splash over two weekends. The first one being this Saturday at The Falls, and they are here to bring the fun! With lots of free activities, special offers by The Falls retailers, train rides, hands-on crafts and more, paired with Tax Free Weekend, this event is sure to be anything but boring.

The event highlights include: Sampling food from the mall restaurants like BJ;s, Los Ranchos and Corner Bakery. Viewing the winners of the South Florida Parenting anti-bullying contest. Spending time with Trina the Mermaid and trying out the kids’ ambulance courtesy of Holtz Children’s Hospital. Making tropical sand art cards and tasting some samples thanks to Navarro Discount Pharmacy. Making pirate hats and crowns with South Miami Children’s Hospital. Enjoying a magic show by the event host James Changefield. And checking out the stage for performances by Hip Hop Kidz, Zumba by Grasp Learning and anti-bullying activities.
