This past Friday, I had the opportunity to go on a mini-shopping spree at The Children’s Place in order to pick out some clothes for my two preschoolers. As always, TCP was filled with a colorful variety of clothes for the holiday season. They too incorporated the metallic look that I mentioned before seems to be hot this winter. There were lots of sparkles, sequins, glitter and more to delight the eye.

“Our collections are all about kids being kids, so we’re inspired by everything that’s important to kids — from their favorite music to their holiday wish lists. Our designs are also very globally inspired, and we’re guided by the styles and fashions we see everywhere from Europe to New York City.” Michael Giannelli, Lead Designer for The Children’s Place

I had to pick up a pair of jeans for my Isabella, and I knew she would just love the little diamond appliques. Of course, we needed to incorporate a butterfly into her fashion as well and I found this cute shirt with sparkles.

My kids always look so adorable in PJ’s, so I couldn’t help but pick up this heart-filled set for Isabella. Plus, it even had a matching ponytail holder.

With Isabella’s 5th birthday coming up right before Christmas, I thought this would be a cute outfit for her to dress up in for her party. The bubble skirts, long sleeves, and sequins are all part of the holiday line. Plus, I almost forget to mention that you can pick up a free penguin stuffed animal when you spend $75 or more. Isabella, of course, got the pink one. It is also available in black.

We always pick up graphic tees and jeans for Joaquin at TCP. They always have a ton of variety at affordable prices.

Joaquin has a lot of rock star shirts, so I figured we’d continue the tradition with this one. It is actually red, though the picture came out an orange hue.

And yes, with Christmas coming, we picked up a pair of black pants for Joaquin. He already has a ton of dress shirts and polos.

And could you believe that I got ALL of that for less than $100? Plus, I was enrolled in the My Place Rewards program which gives you 5 points for every dollar spent. Once you reach 1000 points (or about $200), you also get a $5 certificate to shop at TCP. You can achieve Gold status by spending $250 and you will earn 6 points for every dollar spent.

My kids love when I go shopping at TCP because they love the different graphics and designs on the clothes I pick up. I have been steadily shopping there for over a year, thanks originally to my sister-in-law picking up the awesome children’s socks there. Yes, if you didn’t know, TCP has the best socks for kids. They are soft, clean easy, and have little grippies on the bottom.

Congratulations to our giveaway winner Holly Trudeau!
