#ChevyMNO
I am so excited!! I have teamed up with Chevy to bring you a National Mom’s Nite Out event you will never forget. We’re going on a CRAWL!!! What is a crawl, you say? A crawl is when a group of people get together to visit more than one location on a single day trip. (Except on our crawl, we will get to drive Chevy vehicles like the Traverse, Equinox, Cruze, & Volt.) So where will our crawl take us?
First, we will meet at Maroone Chevrolet of Ft. Lauderdale (1300 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304).
Then it is off to the Contour Day Spa in Plantation where we will get blowouts and professional make-up applications for our “nite” out on the town. Combine that with giftbags provided by Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness (psst- there is even a $120 gift certificate good toward a teeth whitening service in them), and you’ve got some nice beautification going on. BUT, it doesn’t stop there as we hop back into our Chevy’s and drive to our next destination.
We’ll be off to Carrabbas Italian Grill in Boca for a chance to chat over some awesome food.
Then we move onto the piece de resistance: We are heading over to the Simon Mall’s Town Center of Boca Raton for their “Dancing With the Moms” National Mom’s Nite Out event, where I am the official mommyblogger co-host. *
Remember that by using the Twitter hashtag #ChevyMNO throughout the day you will also have the chance to win great prizes provided by Chevrolet!
We cap off the night with a nightime drive back to our original meeting point, where we will also collect our Chevy goody bag to take home and select the best tweets of the night.
Sounds like a great night, huh? So how do you get invited?
Well, this super exclusive event is only open to 10 lucky moms (including me) and we only have 5 slots left to give out. Therefore, we have to make sure that the moms we select to join us REALLY deserve to be treated to a Mom’s Nite Out just in time for Mother’s Day. In order to get an invite, you MUST comment below and tell us why you deserve a Chevy Mom’s Nite Out. This is not a random giveaway, we will select the deserving moms based on your comments. The last day to comment will be 4/28/11 at 11:59pm EST. We will select the invitees on Friday 4/29/11 and notify you then. But, before you comment below, please make sure you will be available on Thursday May 5th starting at approximately 2pm and ending at approximately 9:30pm. You must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license to participate. Also don’t forget to include your Twitter handle, bloglinks, and Facebook page links if you have them. We’d love to follow/fan you back.
Disclosure:
This event is being sponsored by Chevy. I am not being monetarily compensated for my participation, but I will be receiving the same benefits as the other attendees.
*This event is completely separate from the Dancing With the Moms event and Chevy is in no way sponsoring the Town Center’s event.

I deserve to be part of the mom’s night out because, simply, I need some fun in my life. Time to talk to other grown ups. Laugh. Feel like a woman and not a permanent diaper-changer, floor cleaner, sweats-wearing, no make-up frump. I am the mother of three children ages 1.5; 3.5 and 5. Recently, all three children have had successive surgeries — they had their adenoids removed, ear tubes put in and the oldest two had their tonsils out. While in the long run, I truly believe these surgeries will make it easier on everyone (no twice-weekly doctor trips or all night crying jags from ear infection pain), right now I am burned out and need a break. I want to have a night out that has absolutely nothing to do with children. How completely fabulous would that be? Ahh — “Calgon take me away!!!!”
I am a stay at home mom. I have three children. I have a 5 and 15 year old daughters and a 20 year old son. I very rarely do anything for myself because my life revolves around my children. It would really be nice to have a nite just for me.
Hello
I am a Stay at Home Mom to a 19 month old Princess. I would love a Fabulous Moms Night Out! For me it is quite difficult to plan a night out considering that I am new to Miami and do not know many people here to go out with. How boring is it to go dancing, to dinner or to see a movie alone??
My wonderful husband of 2 years works late every week night and sometimes works out of town or even out of the country for a few days to sometimes a month. That being said it doesn’t leave me many days to have a night to go out and have some fun without hubby and my girl.
Since being a new mom I cherish date nights with my husband and walks on the beach alone. I even look forward to a trip to the pharmacy/grocery store in the evening after my little one has gone to bed (with hubby home of course). That now seems like the only alone time I get these days!
This Mom’s Night Out would enable me to meet some fabulous moms and build some amazing friendships.
Please consider me for this!
Because we all deserve some down time!
And this sounds like perfection!
Shari
I deserve a Chevy’s Moms Night Out because I am a stay at home mom to 5 month old TWIN boys, and a 3 1/2 year old daughter….in other words, alone time isn’t in my vocabulary anymore! It sounds like a wonderful day/night that I could use to recharge and get some much needed time to myself to have some fun!!
As a mom with a child (age 27) who lives over 1500 miles away, mother’s day just isn’t the same. That would all be different if I could celebrate being a mom with like-minded friends, getting pampered and talking to other mom’s at different stages of their motherhood.

Hi, I deserve a chevy night out because i’m glad my taxpayer dollars went to the GM bailout so they could go to these awesome programs that are so important because chevy will spend a lot of money on me and I will love chevy forever. Please pick me because i am also very poor and can’t afford a new car and would like to smell the inside of a new chevy because i will never be able to drive one. I ride my bicicle to work at Pepita’s Bakery in Hialeah, so if chevy would like to give me a car for free i would be willing to tatoo the chevy name on my arm so chevy can show it on their website and show how people love their name. thank you.
Any lady would love, Love, LOVE this! I am a stay-at-home mom to an almost 4 year old little girl, and I also take care of my 83 year old mother who lives with us full time. I don’t recall ever having a night out alone (or just with a girl friend even) since my daughter was born. I am not able to leave my mother alone to go out with my husband on a date since she has dementia. But I’m sure I can have my hubby stay home and take care of the “girls” while I get pampered for once! This would truly be a double special occasion if I get picked. Mother’s Day out and some much-needed ME time. Thank you for this opportunity… you are going to make some ladies very happy indeed! 🙂
Hello, I’m Riane and I deserve this night out because I am a proud Mamma! I’am proud of staying home with my son and only accepting jobs that he can acutually go with me. I am proud of cleaning my house (when possible), doing laundry, take 3 classes at FAU, watching my saint child (if you know what I mean) and still managing to take shower!!! I am proud my son sleeps with me and I get to watch him sleep! I am proud of losing 70 pounds since my son was born, but I’m also proud I ate the world and gained 66 pounds being pregnant! I am proud of each strech mark and of my beautiful looking boobs (being very optimistic here) after nursing for 25 months! I am proud of my killing legs and my weird belly! I am proud that my house looks like a bomb went off and my floor is always sticky while I choose to watch a carton with my son while we “comment” it and laugh our sillies out! I am proud of being 30 and speak 3 languages (and my son still sometimes seems to not understand the expression “get down” no matter how I said it.) I am proud of looking my best for my husband and to be sexually active! hahaha That was a good one, right? (In “Mamma language” that means: You get what you get and you don’t get upset!)Yes, I proud to say I’m not always on time, I haven’t been to the dentist, I eat chocolate, I love Jesus more than anything, my son rools on the sand and usually gets at least a little thing everytime we go to a store ( so I can actually do my own shopping), I owe macy’s for more clothes, shoes and make up that I probaly need… Yes, I am proud of not being perfect but going to bed every night, no matter what time that happens, knowing I did my best for my family! So, I am proud to say I am happily exausted and would love a night out! One more thing, I am proud to say I did not run spell check on this message, proud of my “typos” as I struggle to not be such a student all the time (This is not for FAU!!!!!! I remimd myself!) and I have two beautiful blue eyes hanging on my legs and saying: “Mommy, I’m all done going night night!” So let me go and tell myself everything I just told you, and start another wonderful day!
I think every mother is deserving and I hope it’s not too difficult for you to choose! My story starts 9 weeks before my twin boys due date. Thought I was in preterm labor but instead I had preeclampsia in the later stages. I was in kidney failure, liver failure and congestive heart failure. After the birth I was in ICU and the boys were in NICU. After a long recovery (including life support for one of my sons) we all made it through!! Thank the stars. I was about 40 to 50 lbs overweight (not from pregnancy, i had let myself go before i was blessed with twins) so I joined Stroller Strides. I have now lost 36 of those pounds since December. See, looking good is nice, feeling good is better, but really living my life now with all 3 of my boys is the best gift I have given myself ever! I am now playgroup captain for Luna Moms of Boca and make up and organize all of the playgroups (once a week), all of the Mommy’s night out (once a month) and come up with any other activities for our group like a fire station visit or strawberry picking. It would be so nice to go out and not organize it for everyone and make sure all are having a good time. My boys are 19 months, so scatterbrained can’t describe my life. I’ve almost reached my weight goal but my real goal in life is to keep it in perspective and make sure I spread those thoughts. When you are not supposed to live and then you do against all odds… It really makes you live and love life and forget the superficial things. Thanks for taking the time to read my story and the consideration. Make it a great day!
Pick me! Pick me!!!
Not only do I deserve but I NEED a nite out with cool hot mammas like you! Like most moms here Im also a stay-home-mom of a 20 month old girl! My husband lost his job in 09 and I lost mine in 2010. It wasnt until 3 months ago that my hubs got back to the work force… as for me, I turned my passion into a career and became a photographer. Long story short… we have been struggling financially for the past year or so, our parents have stepped in to help us pay our bills but no money is left for a fun nite out! My husband’s car and our TV broke! We’ve been driving one leased car with no miles left (great excuse to check out a CHEVY!) while hubs car gets a $5000 credit card fix (yup! engine is out! – another excuse to check the CHEVY!)… while waiting for a TV warranty to fix our broken TV for the past 2 months!!! (me+no TV = stress!).
Like most woman who lose weight… I also think after I lost 30+ pounds (in 3 months!) I deserve to be a little spoiled! Dontcha think? ;o)
Wrapping it up… my mom whos visiting from Brazil leaves MAY 8th, so I dont have a FREE babysitter after that! :o( Noooooo!!!
Do you feel bad enough for me? Now… just contact me and tell me I get to go and have fun with you in a CHEVY, have drinks, dance and eat pasta!
xoxo
Sounds like lots of fun! Have a great time.
Thanks for the well wishes Dayngr 🙂 Btw, childcare is the same issue I have for evening events. Maybe we could pool a babysitter together sometime.
Hi Heather,
I had not heard of this event before now. I would love to know how our MOMS group could find out info about this for next year!
Thanks so much!
