Raise of hands. How many of you are in a rush to get your kids out in the morning and throw on something quickly to get them out the door? Some of you may even head out in sweats or an old pair of jeans. Now what if you put on something a bit more appealing to wear when you are out and about? I discovered Lyssé through one of the FB groups I am in and I wanted to check it out as a possible option. Lyssé, came out with a new line of spring performance wear. Known for its leggings, Lyssé has created a “full ready to wear line that combines the fit of active wear with super-soft custom knits, innovative designs and expert tailoring for a fit that feels like yoga wear but looks couture.” I ordered a pair of ruched capris in punch (pink) in a medium size. When they arrived, I was excited to try them on.
At first, they were a bit snug to get on, but I think that this was because it just needed to be broken in. They quickly became very comfortable to wear. In fact, I will admit wearing them to bed because they were so comfy. I also noticed that there were no embarrassing panty lines or other, ahem, embarrassing bumps showing through. I will be honest and note that when I first put them on, I had a pair of navy blue undies on that were visible through the light-colored material. I probably should have thought about that before trying them on. I really loved that they smoothed out my legs, and also there is a hidden area on top that helps to control for any risk of a muffin top. As a mom of two, I will admit having a mommy tummy. My immediate thought was that these pants would be ideal for going to the gym, in an effort to target that problem area.
