With the movie Annie hitting theaters next week, I teamed up with some awesome bloggers to offer an Annie movie prize pack giveaway for you. The prize pack includes some very cool stuff for your kids, and you too if you are into the nostalgia of it.
If you are an 80’s baby like myself, you probably remember the original Annie from 1983. In the newest version, you get to see an updated perspective on what the story would look like nowadays. Someone asked me my favorite Annie song recently, and I would have to say it is a toss-up between “It’s The Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow.” Tomorrow is the one I remember from when I was little. If you look at the lyrics, they are inspiring because they encourage you to have hope that things will get better even in the face of troublesome circumstances. Of course, as an 80’s baby, I became familiar with “It’s The Hard Knock Life” through Jay-Z. I can’t think of that song without thinking about Jay-Z’s version.
